Cataracts
A cataract is formed when the clear lens inside your eye becomes cloudy or misty. A cataract will cause your vision to become less clear and car headlights and street lights can become dazzling. You may also notice that colours appear faded or yellow and you may need a brighter light to read.
The main cause of cataract is age. However smoking and exposure to sunlight have been linked to getting cataracts.
If your cataract affects your day to day life and no improvement can be made by changing your spectacles we can refer you to an ophthalmologist for surgery.
